OVERVIEW
The movie adaptation of Beverly Cleary's classic series of novels, 'Ramona and Beezus' was set to premiere on Nickelodeon's on-air movie franchise. There was a need to create custom graphic packaging for the show and help to eventize the premiere.
PROCESS
I designed a mixed media approach that combined graphic illustration and photography. Tapping into visual themes of collage and journal making, I composed a short series of frames that would function as a graphic open to the movie. The look of the movie poster was a guide throughout the design process, as to maintain consistent branding with the popular movie franchise.

The style frames helped to determine an on-air direction for the graphic packaging.
