Cover Re-design.
"La Resaca" by Enrique Laguerre
In this project I design a book jacket from a Puerto Rican author book using only type. After finding what’s the book’s about, I played with the title “la Resaca” ( in Spanish it what is called when the wave leaves the shoreline) and created a cover and book jacket combination, where I show the regression of the wave, revealing it’s bloody underneath. This concept represents the retreat of the revolutionary ideal and the life and death of the protagonist.
