Wistman's Wood is an ancient oak wood on Dartmoor here in the UK.  It is about a 30 minute walk from the nearest road.  Difficult to photograph because it is actually quite small (some call it a copse) and not much chance to use a tripod (lots of boulders and fragile moss that I did not want to disturb).  I spent a number of hours there over a period of 2 days.
