It feels good to be on an island again - I was born on one and I would like to die on one! Technically, I currently live on an island, but being so far from the coast it does not feel like it - Shetland most definitely does.
Shetland is all about the coast - so capturing these images required a different approach. Not only was I trying out new equipment and putting into practice new learnings, but it needed a different thought process to work out how to capture images that reflected my surroundings, but still looked like they were mine.
