BYJUS | The Learning App | E-Learning Video Product
The Brief
This was my first and longest-running project at Byjus. The plan was to start with 10th standard video lessons and proceed down to 6th standard. The brief was only to make great videos in less time. This gave me and my teams the freedom to develop our own stories, styles and production pipelines. As soon as we were finishing a batch of videos, it was being updated on the product.
The Idea
Given absolute freedom over production led to some very creative decision making. The only target was the deadline and within that deadline, we wanted to achieve excellence and volume. The moment a script was dropped it was pushed to storyboarding and all possible production planning happened there. Team leads handled multiples team and multiples projects.
The Result
Within a span of almost 2 years, we were able to create hundreds of hours of quality video content. Some had more stories and some had more concepts. All of them were unique in design and in each one of our projects, we pushed the boundaries of our production possibilities. we tried all art, design and production styles under the roof, some more successfully than the other.
