SebaMed is a German skincare brand that is environmentally conscious and doesn’t test any of its products on animals. The objective of this exercise was to get Hair and Skin medical specialists in India to connect deeply with the brand’s environmental philosophy.
Since SebaMed is a cosmeceutical brand that cannot indulge in advertising, the calendar was an ideal opportunity to showcase the brand’s ethical side. The challenge was to ensure that it found a place on the cluttered desks of these specialists, for which it had to be inspiring and out of the ordinary.
The core idea was to represent the coming together of human beings to make animals feel safe in their natural environment. The execution involved using different parts of the human body to represent their habitat. Immaculate planning, lighting and retouching played a pivotal role in getting us the desired effect of making the viewer believe at first that they were looking at an animal in its natural setting.
Buoyed by the response to the calendar from the community of specialists, the brand intends to use this platform from here on to communicate its message of ‘Live and Let Live’.
