'AssetC' Proof of Concept for AddEnergy. 

Role: Product/UX/UI Design and Frontend development

Collaborating with a PM and a backend engineer, 'AssetC' app is an MVP for oil companies to manage equipment on their sites worldwide and run Quality Assurance operations I have designed and built based on given requirements. 

The aim of the application is to enable easy and intuitive big data management and streamline the process of Quality Assurance. 

The application has 4 main sections for that purpose: 

1. Dashboard for an overview and insights.  It's an easy way to have a glance on top / worst performers, quickly locate critical areas and get an overall glimpse and feel for your org condition

2. Quality Assurance (QA) section. Allows users with the right permissions to create assignments and use Jira-style drag-and-drop behaviour to move and track the workload.

3. Tag Tree Explorer. Allows to slice and dice big datasets into accessible chunks that encourage exploration. Content can be Flagged and commented on, pushed to QA or amended on the fly (with the right permissions).

4. Users. UI to manage your organisation, roles, privileges, etc.

I've also designed and built a landing page for the product (it's still a bit of a draft though).

To start with the project I've gathered the requirements from the product manager. Following this I've created a series of quick pen & paper wireframes and verified the concepts with the PM and with a group of users.

After the concepts have been validated I've set out to create an app. Provided the time frame I decided to go with what's familiar for the frontend: AngularJS. 

I've created reusable modules and went with Bootstrap 4 for the speediness of development, Sass, Grunt.

All assets and frameworks I have used are covered with Creative Commons licence (free for commercial use).

All code is versioned with git and stored in private Bitbucket.

The MVP will be ready shortly to use and achieve validated learning, which will enable future re-iterations.
