Translational Research Initiative (TRI)
Project: Brochure Design
Medical breakthroughs typically take up to two decades and billions of dollars to make it to the marketplace, but Houston Methodist is changing this paradigm through the TRI. The Houston Methodist Hospital Foundation secured a generous matching challenge commitment from the Jerold B. Katz Foundation to help establish a second $10 million philanthropic investment resource to support research discoveries with the most promise of developing into drugs and therapies for patient use. TRI includes a rigorous selection process to oversee allocation and management of the funds to ensure that research projects with the most scientific merit and potential clinical impact are first in line to receive funding. Selected projects receive guidance and support from discovery in the lab throughout the translational research process.
I established primary and secondary colors for each spread that are based on the photography and Houston Methodist's standard color palette.
With differing text alignments, colors, and layouts on every spread, I have maintained a design that is both consistent and visually interesting.
