How to choose a business coach

Business Coaches are people who build, support and encourage in pursuit of their goals. Getting somebody to work well with you is the key to your success.

SHALL THE TRAINER BE CERTIFIED?

The certificate in the training industry is relatively new, but it tells you that the trainer has invested in his profession and has undergone a thorough investigation. However, I interact with the coaches and have regularly attended the trainers; I discovered that the trainer's skills are determined by:

1. Your love for people and the ability to interact and communicate with different personalities
2. Your company's knowledge
3. His ability to free up his ego
Do not misunderstand me, I do not undermine certification. Soon I will be certified by myself. However, I have seen a certified trainer send her client "back to the table" until she returned with a business model similar to the model she visualized.
I have heard of a coach who had some success in online marketing even though he had experience with nursing. She immediately proclaimed herself as a "Melbourne Business Coach", affirming herself and made some people (and themselves) feel miserable when confronting clients who had home-based service companies. (The dynamics of an online business and a service business are very different).
Certification is good, but you should look deeper.

ARE YOU READY?

You may have decided that you need individual support and responsibility for a business coach, but are you ready to work? Hiring a business coach does not mean that you will now find time to do the job. You have to make the decision to spend time and effort. I have had businesswomen who paid me months in advance and thought that the money would be their motivation, to only realize that they promised to make the payment but did not commit to contribute energy. Your coach will be your support, your resource, your partner, your cheerleader, your adviser. But she will not do the job for you.
You must commit yourself before committing to a business coach.

Then, when choosing a vocational education, you must apply for:

1. Someone that suits your style. If you are a creative person who does not like deadlines, you can not feel comfortable with a coach that's so result-oriented that it pushes you to the point of being stressed. I know that Creative Entrepreneur can dream for weeks, so they need structure and deadlines. But I also know that pushing them to reach a particular date, as I do for my other customers, is not useful to them. Your coach must be able to adapt to your style.

2. Someone understands your circumstances. I am a mother of 5. I understand the challenges of mothers; We can have the best intentions and yet a sick child can delay us for a week. My coach, an older man who did not have children, could not understand why I could not reach the 20 goals a week I should establish. If I had a business coach who was also a mother, it would not have allowed me to set so many goals. And she would have been patient in the challenging weeks. If you have a small business, a home-based business, children, illness or other circumstances, you'll find a trainer who understands it, but does not allow you to use it as an excuse.

3. Someone who is not so eager to take you. Time is valuable and a good coach knows his time is also limited. She is not willing to meet anyone and everyone. A good coach chooses his customers by assessing whether the person is trained or not and does not decide how much money he can earn.

4. Someone who will offer you a free session. How do you know if the two are a good match unless you have the opportunity to talk to the coach and experience their training style? A free session also allows the coach to evaluate him as well. When looking for a coaching, take advantage of the free sessions that are offered so that you can become familiar with them. The session must be free of obligations.
A business coach can catapulate your business to the next level. But you need to get into the relationship by evaluating your preparation and then assessing the coach through the free session offered. Once you've found the right one, you'll be on your way to amazing success.
