A Aldeia Adormece Part 2 of 2
“A Aldeia Adormece” é um objecto que pretende materializar uma série de homenagens: em primeiro lugar, ao original "The Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow" (2001), criado por Philippe des Pallières e Hervé Marly; depois, às Aldeias de Xisto, em particular a Aldeia do Talasnal; a terceira homenagem vai para o prazer de adquirir e jogar jogos de tabuleiro; a quarta vai para a as pessoas, a amizade, os encontros e as memórias que as gentes e os objectos carregam; o trabalho colaborativo, onde criativos de diferentes áreas se juntam por um objectivo comum, também é aqui elogiado; por último, homenagear a criação de artefactos que enalteçam a produção como um fim em si mesmo e a fisicalidade dos objectos como característica rica de infinitas possibilidades.
“A Aldeia adormece” (“It’s night time”) is an object that intends to materialize a serie of tributes. First and foremost, an eulogy to the original game "The Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow” (2001), elaborated by Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly; then to Shale Villages, particularly Talasnal Village; another one to board games and the excitement that is to acquire and play them; the fourth regards people, friendship, meetings and the memories which are intrisically related to objects and people; an eulogy to the collaborative work, where creatives from different areas come together with a common purpose. This is highly honored here; and finally, the creation of mesmerizing artefacts that exalt production as an end itself and the physicality of objects as a rich feature of infinite possibilities.
