The Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum is the only museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to historic and contemporary design. To foster the public’s appreciation for design, it produces a monthly magazine to promote its exhibitions, events, and programs. The magazine also has articles on art and design. Aside from the layout, I also worked on the masthead, rendering it based on several calligraphy samples I had created.
