Cinema Centenario Visual Branding Project

The Pitch | Who We Are

We celebrate a century of the Filipino vision.

Cinema Centenario contributes to the positive shaping of Philippine Cinema by building a home for quality Filipino-made films.

We are committed not only to showcase the best Filipino-made works of all genres, forms, and themes, but also to take part in raising the best filmmakers by being a venue for film education - Cinema Centenario is a space for lectures, workshops, and various activities promoting the development of Philippine Cinema.

We are committed to becoming an inclusive space for everybody who loves and in love with the arts - the experts, the novices, the fans, and the critics. Cinema Centenario is a place to socialize and interact, create connections and to appreciate cinema with friends, family, and colleagues.
Audience | Who Are We Branding For

The cinema is not made out of seats and screens,  but of people. Cinema Centenario primarily aims to engage cinephiles - filmmakers, producers, viewers, and critics.

We also strive to engage art lovers in general to create a multi-sectoral audience for the cinema screenings and all of its other efforts.

Lastly, we strive to build an audience from the untapped, unreached, and the outsiders. Filipino cinema is for all and everybody deserves great Filipino cinema.
Projecting Ourselves | Visual Branding Strategy

We project ourselves as a hub, a community, and a home through the use of solid, strong, and spatially intimate forms.

We project the spirit of inclusivity through using popular imagery, the iconic, and the recognizable. We include everyone, their aesthetics, their sensibilities, the things close to their hearts.

We project the spirit of diversity by styling ourselves as a space of fusions. One of the meetings of minds, tastes, and forms. We marry nostalgia and the future, the classics and the contemporary.

We celebrate the spirit of diversity by styling ourselves with the flexibility of the thematics- women, environment, labor, anti-violence, beauty, the classics and the avant-garde.

We project a sense of comfort - of familiarity, and homeliness through the use of the colors of warmth and the colors of the earth.
