In 2016, my family and I had an exciting and amazing opportunity to live in and travel through New Zealand. This diverse and elegant country stole our hearts with its amazing community culture and simply stunning natural beauty; with such remarkable variety around every turn. During our time on the islands we captured many, many photographs of the country’s iconic and well photographed landscapes and surroundings. The shots of many of these scenes can be found in droves in a simple google search. So, to try and avoid the cliché, using this site, I have aimed to share some of New Zealand's more unique examples of natural beauty. Having lived for six months in the capital, Wellington, we were shocked at the closeness of the remote wilderness to the city. Following this we spent a further three months travelling through both the North and South islands and found the country to be increasingly diverse and beautiful with each passing day. We will definitely be returning sometime soon.
