The latest update and official release of Adobe Dimensions; formerly Project Felix, brings the 3D design capabilities that much closer to designers of all levels.
In this project the impressionable ideal of westernized beauty and the physical shattering of glass combine to make this photographic composite piece titled Broken Beauty. It speaks to the topic of beauty as a broken ideal, unattainable, unrealistic and can leave damaging and crippling impressions.
In the composite there is a contrasting battle between the elements - it is expressly 'beautifully destructive'. Using photography from Adobe Stock and Dimensions to create the 3D glass shattering, I was able to create a feeling of space and depth bringing the viewer into the image. Colour-lookups can be applied to set a mood and tone for the finished piece.
