THE LUTON ROTARY CLUB: THE BANDSTAND DESIGN COMPETITION 2013

The Luton Rotary Club organised a competition for Luton locals and design students at the University of Bedfordshire to present a contemporary Bandstand design for Luton's, Wardown Park. As an Interior Architecture student at the University of Bedfordshire, I was excited at the idea of being able to present a design that could possibly be built for people to use.

The idea behind the design form of the bandstand stemmed from The Eden Project and the idea of creating a novelty structure that was equally attractive and functional for Wardown Park.
