Homesickness is the distress caused by being away from home.
Its distinguishing characteristic is disturbing thoughts about home and a kind of pathological attachment to some objects.
In this project I investigate homesickness on the assumption that the house is not a defined physical space but rather a feeling, fragile and familiar, something hard to pin down, that escapes continuously. Homesickness is not only a pathological state. Homesickness is rather an increasingly common experience among those who are still looking for their place in the world.
