RUTGERS NEWARK - MASTERPLAN

Rutgers University-Newark Masterplan
Rutgers University-Newark, Newark, New Jersey
Several options were studied for the Rutgers University Newark Campus with the goal of increasing on-campus residence, satisfying housing needs through 2018, and connecting and populating the area north of main campus, which leads to the Broad Street Station transit hub, a fifteen minute ride to Manhattan. The masterplan study consists of three parts: feasibility study for a new apartment-style undergraduate residence; a feasibility study for adaptively reusing the historic 15 Washington Street Building for Graduate Student housing; and an overall Campus Housing Masterplan.
