Teatro La Plaza, peruvian based theatre company, celebrated the fifth edition of their theatre festival Sala de Parto. For the ocassion, the company launched the first issue of Sala de Parto magazine during the current festival edition as a free gift to every guest and spectator. The magazine features articles and reviews from peruvian and international theatre specialists, incluiding dramaturgs (such as NY´s SITI Company - Anne Bogart), critics and journalists. The issue itself is divided in three sections: National [perspectives on local theatre by peruvian authors], Peru+: Co-Creaciones [Sala de Parto´s special programme on international and national theatrical co-creations] and International [articles by international guests]. It was meant, for reading purposes, to delimit magazine sections in distinctive complementary colours to set a main difference between the content and to play with the main palette.
