This is a poster I created for college after spending the day at Dublin's Natural History Museum (also known affectionately as the Dead Zoo). The trip out was a good opportunity to study animals, and working in such a cramped and public place meant I worked quickly and was a lot more gestural in my drawing. Although they won't be moving  any time soon, the animals still have an energy to their natural forms; I hope I captured some of this in my sketches and the poster. Original sketchbook pages below.
