Supercar Lifestyle Car Quiz
iPhone Application

Supercar lifestyle was an app concept I produced for a track experience day company. They wanted a quiz application to promote the business, allowing the user to challenge friends to guess car models. I cam up with a 'fastest finger first' approach, with social (facebook, twitter) integration allowing users to challenge each other and compare scores. The timer added an interesting dimension, allowing you to see how long it took your friend to answer the same question. I designed not only the user interface, but the visual designs as well as being involved in the user experience concepts.

Saffron Hospital Ordering System
iPhone and iPad Application

Fretwell Downing came were looking for an iOS version of their Windows-based tablet ordering system, Saffron, allowing members of the hospital staff to process patient food orders on the fly. With all the strict and diverse dietary requirements of patients within a hospital, this was a real challenge which was exciting to tackle. The result was a refreshed and much simpler UI and an all round 'fresher' system which is now being implemented into hospitals across Europe.

iCare Social Worker Training
iPhone

Aspect Training wanted an iPhone app to help develop and train social care workers in the UK. Together we created an app full of bite-szied questionnaires on all aspects of social care from the general roles to health and safety and equality. In Order to design this, rather than creating a dull list-view of categories, I split each section to create this simple and effective UI, keeping the app interesting and most important - engaging.

MLC Motorcycle Tracking App Concept
iPhone App

This app was commissioned by an insurance company looking to use the accelerometer to provide motorcyclists with a way to track key stats as they ride. Built mainly for track motorcycling, the app has various editable options including weather, bike modifications, BHP etc. to offer more accurate results. I was inspired by various GPS trackers in the design of this app.

Radiology Revision Tool
iPhone App

This recent freelance project was a Radiology Revision Tool app for medical students, allowing them to study a range of different x-rays and decide whether they involved breakages or if the bones appeared normal. The client came to me with a basic app framework in place, so we worked together to tweak the user interface and create some new visual elements.
