_An Expose of Eastern Values
_School Project, Interactive Design, Minimalistic Poster
My graduated project is to open a discussion on different values between individual and society by the results of my one-by-one interviews with people who have lived in Eastern countries and are educated in the West. 6 beliefs are proposed.
The design aim of the project is how possible to merged graphic design with interactive ways to bring much more connections with audiences. Plenty of practical works and experiments led to finally concentrating on a simplistic poster form with different materials and print methods, giving their senses of touching and sight to play roles of my posters.
A communication of visualization of certain thoughts in Eastern culture will bring much more concerning what the real beliefs should be in the society.
Two practical work are the design response that ideology is able to disappear in society if most people do not believe it. By a tearing behavior, designer and viewers could realize its level of people's expectation of non-existence.
