HYP-CUP-2017 Competition
Brief:
The main aim of our project has 3 principles with different degrees of considerations
(environmental – citizen’s vision – government’s vision). we take environment as the
first priority, it has no force to use also we believe that it has the magic solution for
current crisis between “citizens” who want to just live neglected any futuristic urban
development and “government” which want all of island’s land as Nuclei of
investment we noticed that no one think for future. No one can declare that there are
fatal problems which are related to (environment, health, horrible population, pollution
…etc). We began to think socially and available material in order to use it as
structure component and also make our priority is to “back to nature” we deeply
believe the distinguish location of el waraq can be a very important site for all Egypt
by 2050.We suggested reviving the agricultural craft in the island and this can be
achieved by increasing the area of planted soil by generate vertical and horizontal
layers of soil in order to achieve our purpose and to make generator module which
can itself generate seeds around it to reach unreachable places and guarantee to
have more planted surfaces as we could. The system is also intended to collect
architectural residues in order to use it in futuristic structure and modules also use it
seeds to regenerate new genes to make the system spreading over the island for the
short term and over Cairo for the long term to limit from risk of Unconscious Random
extensions. This system requires only local raw material which can take from
agriculture process and people to work. This project could provide many facilities for
every one go on with it especially to who live in cairo not only supply them with good
conditions for live and help them to prevent the risk of Unconscious Random
extensions but also it helps youth and farmers to earn for life.

Al-Warraq Island is an Egyptian island in the Nile River. It is located in the Al-Warraq
area of Giza Governorate. It is one of the 255 islands in the Republic, it is the largest
area with an area of about 1,400 feddans. Al-Warraq Island was famous for its
flourishing agriculture until the economic community began to turn its attention to it in
order to convert it into various population complexes, such as the establishment of
tourist hotels and residential towers, which were transformed from an agricultural plot
into a built-up area aimed at exploiting its distinguished location by Evacuating its
inhabitants or buying large areas in different areas and exploiting them. Residents of
Al-Waraq, an island of extreme poverty just kilometers from central Cairo, cry out for
help from Egypt's new leaders after decades of neglect.All of these conditions make
el warraq a very important place which need ideas for good exploiting not just make it
an episode of the silly continuous increasing series of “cement-blocking” which
directly or not directly make Slums and gypsy’s districts grow up, as government
thought !!

Sprawl Scenario:

Our system is built up in order to give different plants with its suitable
conditions in order to keep the island green also participated in economical
development with its crops and products then we finally give our solution to prevent
slums ,provide job opportunities ,develop economy ,and finally overcomes predicted
