Roaring Fork Newcomers is a "virtual welcome mat" designed to make new residents feel right at home in the Roaring Fork Valley. Surprised by the lack of online relocation information, my client created this website to help others make the leap from lost to local. It contains a variety of helpful resources and suggestions for experiencing the valley like an insider – everything from tips on high altitude baking to finding the best bargains on ski gear. While the site had been getting steady traffic over the years, she felt it was time for a complete redesign. My client wanted a way to capture leads for her real estate business, as well as integrate an MLS search tool so that visitors could easily browse current listings. In addition, she wanted to feature the vacation rental properties that she manages. The result is a clean, informative, user-friendly website that has proven to be an effective business development tool. Within a few weeks of launching the redesigned site, my client already has several qualified leads interested in purchasing real estate.
