Title: The Apples

Technique:

0.5 B pacer on 120gsm sketch paper

Process:

These images were all sketched from the same subject, the first four were drawn quickly over the course of eating the apple, the final was after a few days for the apple to begin decomposing. The images were then scanned and briefly touched up in photoshop.

Reasoning:

As an organic object, an apple offered an interesting opportunity to watch the subject change and decay over time.

Reflection:

The third image is the most appealing. At that point I had gotten used to the shape of the apple after this point once the apple was just a core, I was drawing with unfamiliar forms.
