Academia English & Writing Centre represents a triumvirate of perspectives derived from the institutions that set the global educational agenda.
We wanted to find a balance between an unobtrusive design with clean aesthetics that would also be also playful, exploratory and inspiring; with this exquisite balance in mind, we explored the usage of blue and grey tones with copper foil to make the collaterals seem regal, yet warm. The clean typography with a heavy-weighted serif is an allusion to this educational organisation that conveys both prestige and authenticity. A tactile, textured fabric paper on the paper is nostalgic, reminding us of old-school designs where quality mattered. So too our design conveyed the spirit of Academia, a place where quality, authenticity and the intrepid pursuit of knowledge come together beautifully.
