THE NOIR

Created for We Are Handsome's 2017 Swim & Active Collections, I used a combination of photography and illustration to stylize the lilies and peonies into an almost black on black aesthetic.
Contrast was the key and we needed to test often to get the contrast to pop on the fabrics and to make sure the details were seen in every application.

Not surprisingly, the print looked amazing on everything we made and has gone on to be one of our most popular prints this year.
