Let's discover Patan Durbar -interactive children's map

'Let's Discover Patan Durbar' is an interactive map designed to inspire children to explore the rich heritage of Kathmandu Valley in a fun way.

As a part of the educational outreach program of the Triennale, the map was created in collaboration with Srijanayala, Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust and Patan Museum.
The map guides users through three courtyards built by the Malla kings- Mul Chok, Sundari Chok and Bhandarkhal. Illustrations done by Suman Maharjan, highlight the main areas and elements in the courtyards. Activities designed and written by Rishi Amatya and Sharareh Bajracharya are presented through three characters- Pradip Ba, Radha and Dhiraj who take the journey along with the users. The content and design have been catered to children in the 9 - 14 age group.
