Challenge:
Cheers dives into the culture of beer of Canada, reaching brewers who have been crafting for years. The focus of this book design is to show how a huge process in the history of beer is the crafting by hand. Colors wanted incorporated in the design are golds, browns, yellows, and black.
Solution:
To recreate the hand crafted design feel is to use a type of wood that can be used in the brewing process. The typography chosen to use is based on a friendly, yet legible characteristics. The idea of putting a painted style beer mug on the wood plank is to represent the gathering of people, enjoying the pure essence of crafting beers. By pairing the title to the graphic creates a unified theme of colors pulled from the entire graphic.
