Screw Cancer Brew Hope brings together the Ulman Foundation's closest friends and supporters for an evening of fine wine and craft beer. The old logo tried to juxtapose the harshness of cancer and the beauty of hope but often came off as hard to read and didn't capture the atmosphere of the event.
I was tasked with creating a new logo that captures the feel of a wine and beer event but still keep the juxtaposition between the words "screw cancer" and "brew hope". After researching other designs and many mockups I created a few icons to go with the theme and ultimately created a new logo that resembled a beer label.
