Bilingual Zines

Issue N°1: A Japanese Bilingual Experiment

This Issue of the Bilingual Zines deals with a scientific study made
in 1964 where bilingual Japanese women, living in the states where
questioned about their lives. The study shows that depending on
the language they were answering the questions, they responded
completely different.
The fanzine is using a french binding and has two reading levels,
on the outside there are statements compared with portraits made
out of two people combining their faces and bodies to diptychs, which
stand for the two different lives that bilingual people embody.
