Balderschwang, in Bavaria’s Allgäu region, is among the snowiest places in Germany – and the location of the now-legendary HUBERTUS Alpin Lodge & Spa. We worked with partners The Blue Q and Ines Leidel to create a new brand identity for the hotel. Over time, the resulting image became a model for other hotels. The new design was part of an unparalleled success story, which still continues unbroken today. The image brochure was nominated for the German Design Award and the Berliner Type Award, while ‘Leabig’, the HUBERTUS Lodge magazine, won Silver at the DDC, was placed at the IF Design Award and won Gold at the German Brand Award.
