Drawing Perspective

Drawing Perspective
Entry No.2 to the RIBA Eye Line Drawing Competition 2017
The concept of this drawing was to push the boundaries of what is perceived as architecture narration and how a story develops as the reader is pulled in from the wide context into the detail. Drawing Perspective plays on the views perception of drawing, space connections and how we read architecture through elevation, sections and plans. Architecture is a process of drawing and layering and too often in a world where modern architecture has been emphasised through photorealistic visuals, this has detracted from the skill required to draw, create, assign material and explore a narrative. Drawing perspective is a play on how design can be organised yet chaotic.
