White Meat VS Red Meat

In China, pork and chicken are the most popular meats in people's daily diets. At the same time, people are almost obsessed with losing weight for the healthy consideration.

I wanted to conduct a research to find a better way to eat the same amount of meat without getting fat and sickness that caused by fat. Some part will help us to lose weight and getting healthier but some parts will bring us to the unhealthy world.

I collected data by comparing the different fat levels in pork and chicken as well as showing the fat levels in different parts of a chicken and pork. What’s more, the project also presented the interesting relationship between fat level and healthy/sickness.

In order to make the data both legible and visually appealing, I tried different forms of presenting them. From the 2D way of presenting data, I challenged myself to think about a more “creative way” of showing data. A way can make invisible data into something able to be touched. So I made a 3D installation to present my idea.
