Visual narration based onthe short story 'Studio 5,The Stars', by James G.Ballard,
created in the darkroom using direct impression photograms, the same technique used
by Man Ray, László Moholy-Nagy and other avant-garde artists in the early days of experimental photography.
The photograms, that are substantially pictures generated without the use of a negative, once scanned become reproducible and can be used for editorial purposes.
For this project, they were printed on vintage paper and assembled with an accordian binding to create a continuous, tactile and slightly hallucinatory visual narration.
