A COOKIE IN SPACE
Series of digital illustrations were made in 2015 as an assignment while studying at VDA Kaunas Faculty. Each illustration was inspired by 8 random words mixed together to form different combinations.
The set was made using these words: a cookie, three, at night, by phone, crying, dark, in space, loudly.

The main features of illustrations are combining digital drawing with photography, making contrasts between textures and linear elements, shadows and light colours, dark backgrounds and tiny details of droplets. Since the cookie is floating in its own space I decided to put some additional details, e.g. cats climbing off of the tea cup and sugar cubes, to give these series a playful, sometimes unexpected mood.
