Event concept and branding made for Panevėžys city in Lithuania. “Ištiesk draugui leteną” would roughly translate to “give your helping hand to a pawed friend”. It is a concept for charity event which purpose is to collect food for dogs and cats living in Panevėžys animal shelter.
A cozy, bright and cheerful graphic style was chosen for the visual identity to best translate the positive meaning of the name for charity event and the message it sends. Abstract dog and cat illustrations with a custom pattern are main features made using watercolor and used throughout visual identity and other event attributes. Dominant orange color was chosen for its psychological properties to stimulate communication and optimism, it is believed that it focuses our minds on issues of physical comfort - food, warmth, shelter, security.
Project was made as an assignment while studying at VDA Kaunas Faculty in 2016.
