This project was to create our own London Underground Poster, based on the surroundings of the local area. The final outcome had to be created using traditional methods such as lino printing, stenciling or watercolours.
I chose the Tube Station of Embankment and focused my work on the more unusal side of London, rather than just the architecture or popular tourist destinations. I walked along the South Bank and photographed the famous skate park underneath the South Bank centre, as I felt this showed off a side most Londoners do not regularly experience. Included with the skate park, is the graffiti art all over its walls, which directly links back to my final having to be made from traditional methods.
