La Alianza Latina held a logo contest, and I came up with the first design that depicts the intersection and "alliance" of the group with the letters "latina" that weave throughout the logo. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create this effect, and learned a lot about shading and filters. 

My first design was chosen, and La Alianza Latina then asked for some adjustments, which resulted in the following logo as the final one!
