Patyna.pl - polish showroom with vintage furniture and home decoration decided to create a limited product edition, inspired with vintage aesthetics. Patyna joined forces with Jasło Glass Factory and ourselves. It resulted with candle holders, inspired with Bauhaus design assumptions, made of stained glass.
Jasło Glass Factory is known for their antique stained glass produced with technology from the beginning of XIX century. Beautifull light reflections on the glass structure and it's imperfections became particulary inspiring for us.
Bauhaus aesthetics, which we soaked, during the summer of 2015 that we spent on IKEA Bauhaus Summer Residency, turned out to be close to Patyna's heart, offering items derived from the Bauhaus and Bauhaus inspired.
Working with geometric forms and pure colors resulted in a candle holder - steel form with room for tea- light glass, light diffusers in three colors and geometric shapes were created manually by technologists of Jaslo Factory.
Combinations of glass in intense colors with a gray sheet (giving the "smoky" impression) create a special play of light.
Product available from August 10 in limited edition of 50 pieces on Patyna.
