For this flyer I wanted a central point of focus, so I talked with my friend I co-host the event with and he sent me an old drawing I made my own iteration of, which is this photo.

The next step I took was to go over the drawing in Illustrator to make it as clean as possible.  Also, the skull needed it's other half so I went ahead and did some computer magic to make that happen after I was finished.

After I was done with the outline of this in Illustrator, I took it into Photoshop where I had the rest of the elements waiting to be put together with this.  I took care of the coloring/shading in Photoshop as well, as it is a personal preference of mine.

After I was done with the illustration, I went ahead and put all the content into the flyer and used the white lines to fill the empty space, because it just didn't look right without something there.  This final product was used to make handout and A3 size flyers, and also a couple large posters that I do not have images of but will put up when I do.  All in all, I was pleased with the way this turned out despite having less than a day to work on it while constantly having the content changed while creating this.  Sometimes pressure works in your favor!
