Printing is the first step in transforming virtual data into a material carrier. As a desktop inkjet printing robot, INKBOT performs flat printing on different formats and media. Directed by the base station, four print heads act independently. They roam freely like little fish and bring color.
In fact, INKBOT can print more than office paper. It can print without format restrictions because the print heads are separated from the machine. It even print on different materials, which creates more possibilities. You don't need to rely on a large or professional printing device anymore. With INKBOT, you can create print stickers with your children, DIY a unique T-shirt for yourself, and explore more fun of printing.
INKBOT is composed of two parts: base station and mobile print heads.
The base station and print heads are independent of each other. The base station is their brain, the nerve center and the gas station. It receives files transmitted from airdrop, Bluetooth or USB, and then issues commands to direct the four print heads to print. The four print heads represent C,M,Y,K color respectively. The mobile print heads are equipped with Fine inkjet heads, which make the printing job better and more efficiently.
In terms of form-giving, the mobile print heads use the abstract form of fish to give it vitality. Combining form and movement, it looks like the tail of a fish is swinging on each turn. All lines are striving for cleanliness, and a unified, integrated and clear design language.
