The Star Gazer

Muebles
studying da Vinci's reciprocal frame theory
This chair draws inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci’s reciprocal frame concept – that of relying on gravity and friction to create a supportive structure. The chair is composed of three separate pieces for easy transportation and storage. When assembled, it spreads to become a full-body reclining chair in which to gaze into the sky. It is made out of a structural beam salvaged from a fire and disposed decorative trim.
