Continuing Medical Education | 2017 Interventional Pain Symposium
For the 2017 course, Jessica Bauer and I worked extensively to create a recognizable brand for this two-day event focusing on the management of cancer pain syndromes. The course directors required the use of the New York skyline in all marketing materials. I drew a detailed line drawing of the skyline as an alternative to a skyline photograph, which is used frequently in the the hospital’s continuing medical education marketing materials. In addition, I designed a simple logo featuring an abstraction of a spine that will be utilized in future years.
The course directors also requested the creation of a welcome packet for all invited faculty members. I researched, conceptualized, and designed this handout. The design was created so it could be easily adapted to reflect the branding of other events sponsored by the hospital's continuing medical education department.
Other design materials created for this event included a Twitter graphic, a four-panel print brochure, a series of introductory PowerPoint slides, and a poster.
