São João is a june-july super popular festivity in Brazil, specially at the northeast region of the country, where I come from.
At this time of the year the city turns itself in a huge country party, with multicolored little flags hanging on the streets, lots of bonfires and several food based on corn. There're fireworks everywhere and people dance alongside with traditional forró groups. These are special memories for me as a kid about this time of the year.

This is the idea behind Forró Pipoco, which I was invited to develop alongside with Tok&Stok, this huge chain of Houseware stockists. Every year they invite a diferent artist to develop a special collection to São João festivities.
Process
I was pretty stoaked to be considered doing this, and it came out just they way I wanted. The collection has a lot of kitchen items, and some decoration also. To the launch of the line they this video about the collection directed by Atrás da Moita Filmes.
