In 2015, our friend, talented designer, and future Makeshift member Som Kong was invited to show at Inland, a Canadian fashion and apparel pop-up. The pop-up featured upwards of 70 independent designers from around Canada.
With five showcase pieces and his booth being featured at the entrance to the space, Som brought Makeshift on to build a creative display, cashier, and changing area. The five pieces were hung from the tall ceiling, wrapped around glowing cubes to complement the lightness and airiness of each piece of clothing.
