The Entire History Of Me – 2017
This infographic is part of the data data project I've been working on with a friend. Every two weeks we choose a theme and collect data about it in our lives, and then visualise it in some form. Here the theme was family:
I’ve been gathering genealogical information for the past years through an app that also then visualises family trees and all kinds of data. To make my own graphic for the family theme I decided to take some of the very straight forward elements (geometric shapes, connections) and arrange them a bit more freely, casually, and organically.
The result is by no means complete as lots of data is still missing or needs to be fact checked. But it is enough to get an image of connections and to see trends happening in the history that led up to me.
