With its origins in late 1990s to early 2000s in USA’s Atlanta, Georgia, trap music began to emerge as a recognized genre after the mainstream success of a number of albums and singles, with lyrics that covered topics about life in "the trap", drug dealing and the struggle for success.
TRAP Romania is a collaborative project founded in late 2013 by me & DEX, owner of RAGE.ro and represents a successful attempt to bring trap music closer to the romanian electronic music scene.
Featured artists include Bass Turbat, EsKayZee, Quba, Jakoban, Hardplay, Enevel, The Bridge Committee and many others.
