The following project was an experimentation on creating a cartoon character inspired by myself. The challenge being the identification of the dominant facial and anatomy characteristics and putting them on paper upon animatable characters.

Given below is the facial explorations that were made. Each iteration was an improvement on the previous one to make the character look less like a caricature and more like a cartoon.

The final bottom right corner face would be the most closest the final animated character.

Some more exploration based on an isometric view. Okay, you can say that the guy got mad at something and the shape of his head just bulged out like that. :P

Now, this character is more cartoonish. With slimmer legs and forearms. Less attention given to realistic anatomy.

I will be working on animating this guy pretty soon, making him do simple actions like walk, run, jump and shiver.

So there's definitely more to come...
