The work refers to the growing and unstoppable mechanization of the contemporary world.Mechanization now considered an inevitable and normal consequence of progress.(So ​​much so that we have even come to try to humanize the machines!) 

A complex and disturbing theme, however, is always faced with a positive look, open to hope and confidence in the future; In fact, the woman here depicted with the mechanical body wears the pearl necklace ... and has her eyes open.

L’opera fa riferimento alla crescente e inarrestabile meccanizzazione del mondo contemporaneo.
Una meccanizzazione ormai considerata una inevitabile e normale conseguenza del progresso.(tanto che siamo addirittura arrivati a cercare di umanizzare le macchine!)

Un tema complesso e inquietante che però viene affrontato sempre con sguardo positivo, aperto alla speranza e alla fiducia nel futuro; infatti, la donna qui raffigurata con il corpo meccanico indossa la collana di perle...e ha gli occhi aperti.
