Photo-series of an attic in Leiden
A photoseries of a small hidden attic above the former hardware store of W.P. Hartwijk & Zn BV in Leiden, the Netherlands. It is part of an old Dutch building, presumably dated 18th cetury. It is located on the Nieuwe Beestenmarkt in Leiden.
The hardware store occupied three similar houses on the ground floor. The store has been there for over eighty years. The houses are barely recognizable as dating back from the 18th century, since the building had been renovated and reconstructed many times after.
